Madera didn't have much time after Smash's show to run and grab Sabbath. She only had enough time to run her out and let her go potty before rushing back into the ring. Perhaps hiring another handler would have been easier, but wouldn't have been nearly as rewarding.
Thankfully, with Sabbath's glorious coat, she didn't need much done to it, other than a few pets to fluffen it up from her lying in her crate, waiting for her turn.

She knew she was in the spotlight. Unlike Smash, she was instantly focused. Madera was glad she chose to show Smash first, since he needed to warm up before he got focused.

Though showing in conformation wasn't Sabbath's primary job, it was one of them, and she did it well. She had a very serious look about her, and was ready for everything the judge could throw at her.
They were rushed into line. The judge methodically moved his hands around Sabbath, checking her physical conformation. Though she didn't care for it, she didn't protest, even when the judge checked her teeth.

He nodded to allow them to both run around the ring. Her steps were flawless, as was her gait - at least in Madera's eyes. She knew she was biased, but couldn't help but admire the beauty of her own dogs.
Sabbath knew she was in the spotlight, and she fit the part perfectly. Acting like a diva, trotting in the ring as if she'd done it a million times, when in reality, she'd only practiced for it. Madera was grateful that nothing around distracted her from what she was doing.

After their run-around, they found their place in line once again. Madera was glad she was the final dog she had to show today. The excitement and stress in hoping the dogs would perform well was exhausting her.
With a grin spread across her face, she was anxious and excited as she waited for the judge to announce the winner.
